Diabetes Prevention Program- LIVE Online

Looking to join the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) but don't want to drive to class? The NDPP team now offers online classes at four different days/ times of the week through the web platform: Zoom. These classes will launch AS SOON AS they fill! Please tell your friends and family members to join you in your journey to be well all while in the comfort of your living room.

 The National Diabetes Prevention Program will help you: 

  • Learn how to eat better and be active
  • Develop skills to make healthier choices
  • Get the long-term support you need to stick with the changes

The National Diabetes Prevention Program meets for one year: once a week for 16 weeks, then bi-monthly or monthly for the rest of the year.  A trained instructor will provide guidance and encouragement throughout the program. Classes are one-hour, and will be held at the same time each week.Please note: This program is not designed for people who have already been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes Prevention Program- Wells-Ogunquit Adult Education

Classes will be held weekly on Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Due to COVID-19, our program is following CDC guidelines and plan to hold  group via Zoom. We hope to transition to meet in person at Wells High School as recommendations evolve.
